People often leave their TV's or lights on while they're out at night to put off potential burglars, however this wastes energy and can cause units to overheat if left too long.
The Simulated TV is a great alternative as it uses less energy than a standard lamp and has timer settings for added effect.
When switched on a built in micro computer controls an array of super-bright LED’s which produce light at varying intensity and colour. Depending on location this light can be projected onto closed curtains, shades or blinds.
Dusk till dawn setting means the unit will automatically come on for 4 or 7 hours as soon as it gets dark in the evening. Or can be continuously kept on.
Perfect to make your home look occupied and lived in when you're going away on holiday, if you're out for the evening or for empty properties.
- Presents a random display of lights
- Deters burglars
- Peace of mind while you're away
- Time switch - use any time of the day or night
- Ideal for use while you're away on holiday
- Gives the illusion holiday homes or vacant properties are lived in
- Uses less power than a TV, about the same as a standard lamp.
- Mains adapter included
The Simulated TV needs a 240v power socket to operate. The low voltage power adapter has a 1.5m cable. In choosing the ideal location you may need to use an extension lead if a socket is not available.
Ground Floor - If the Simulated TV is used on the ground floor, place the unit facing towards the window. Make sure that shades, curtains or blinds are closed. Ensure the unit cannot be seen from the window.
Upper Floors - If the Simulated TV is used on an upper floor there is no need to place it facing the window.
Plug the power adapter into the Simulated TV and into the mains.
There is a switch located on the back of the unit. There are 4 possible positions / modes of operation: Off, Auto Mode 1, Auto Mode 2 and On.
